OriginGPS is looking for a technically qualified, professional, B2B sales manager, ideally with at least 7 years’ experience selling into the industrial/electronics industries, used to working on complex deals involving cutting edge technologies. The sales manager will actively sell company products and solutions to new and established customers, develop new project opportunities and apply knowledge of company products and marketing techniques to generate new sales revenue. OriginGPS offers an exciting innovative environment for miniature embedded devices that accelerate IoT project development and provide high quality GNNS to solutions for a wide range of cellular IoT applications.
Work with senior management to create sales strategy based on market research and sales data.
Actively sell company products and services by interacting with established and new target customers.
Conduct product presentations with thorough knowledge of company products to convey benefits and answer questions accurately.
Present sales reports to senior management based on sales data at regular intervals.
Leverage CRM software to track and analyze sales productivity
Develop strategic sales plans, business plans and customer proposals which demonstrate and ensure growth to meet sales and margin goals.
Actively work with key customers to identify and support new project opportunities.
Prepare company to accept orders and/or developmental runs (securing and renewing orders, negotiating contracts, communicating lead times and delivery dates, and informing internal staff of customers” requirements.)
Confer with CEO in the development of new products and projects as a result of identifying new opportunities.
Maintain records and prepare reports in a timely manner on all phases of sales activities.
BSc. / MSc. in Electronics or Computer Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in sales of advanced technology products and solutions.
Background in cellular IoT and GNSS with an understanding of the different uses within the industrial and commercial fields.
Ability to grasp advanced technology concepts and to translate these into customer benefits.
Experience creating new business channels and working with existing/new distribution partners.
International experience in solution selling sales role.
Strong listening, communication, presentation and leadership skills.
Project management experience
Thorough understanding in negotiating confidentiality agreements, developmental and supply contracts.
Proven track record of entering and closing new project opportunities and generating new sales revenue.
Ability to think strategically, negotiate value propositions and work in a team environment.
Ability to travel 50%+ of the time.
Written and verbal fluency in English and additional language – preferably German
